Jess has been coordinating and teaching STEAM programming to young people in Cambridge OST programs for the past 3 years, following a career change from the Mental Health field. Most recently she led the Cambridge Community Center's Teen STEAM MYSEP Summer Program, which uses hands on engineering challenges centered around real world problems to introduce participants to various STEM careers. She strongly believes that high quality informal education experiences in OST programs are a form of social justice that can lead to equity in education. She is currently the Program Assistant for the Cambridge STEAM Initiative.
