Ben Godfrey was born in Milwaukee and studied creative writing at the University of Wisconsin. After completing his program in 2010, he lived and worked in South Korea as an English teacher at a public middle school. He moved to the Boston area after returning stateside and began as a youth worker with Cambridge Youth Programs. Ben believes in creating pathways for young people to expand their critical thinking skills by offering interdisciplinary workshops. Ben is currently the pre-teen program director at Gately Youth Center.
