In this workshop we will reflect on Best Practices in Culturally Proficient Family Partnering Through the Digital-Stories of your Peers. You will have the opportunity to reflect on the family engagement beliefs and practices of your peers in the OST community and to discuss best practices in leveraging digital media as a professional development tool. In teams, workshop participants will conduct “deep dives,” into digital stories about culturally proficient family partnering strategies in Cambridge OST. Teams will discuss major take-aways from the family engagement stories, explore how to effectively consume digital media as part of the OST practitioner tool-kit. You will also share stories of your own work with families and ideas you have to apply what you are learning from your peers back in your programs.
