Trauma is the big buzz word nowadays. What is trauma? Who does it impact? How does it play out in my classroom or center? What do I do about it? In this workshop, we are going to delve in to the world of trauma (as much as 90 minutes allow). We will think about how it lives in our lives and the lives of those we work with. You will reflect on your own practices and set your intentions around how to be supportive and create safe spaces. You will leave feeling grounded in the importance of empathy and feeling rejuvenated as a positive person in the lives of young people.
