Sometimes, as an educator or instructor, it’s necessary to think like a student in order to create a better learning environment. In order to engage with the youth and to keep youth engaged in S.T.E.A.M., it is vastly important for educators to encourage youth to ask about what they don’t understand and use questions as a way to help them reflect and guide them towards a solution. We will work through a portion of the Engineering Is Elementary curriculum, Hop to It: Safe Removal of an Invasive Species, to delve into this subject.
