Dooshima Mngerem

Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House
Senior Director of Programs at the Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House
Dooshima Mngerem is the program manager at the Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House, supporting OST programming for elementary aged children in the Port area of Cambridge. For the past seven years Dooshima’s work with children has principally been with low income children of color who live in urban settings. She is very interested in exploring the relationship between housing, neighborhoods, and schools in order to assure economic mobility for populations that have been historically disenfranchised. A recent alumna of Tufts University’s Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study and Human Development (MA, 2017), Dooshima also holds a BS (2014) from Howard University.
